Doesn't work for us, so FCUK everyone else...we need our EU subsidies because we are inefficient peasant-farmers.

New Zealand has successfully done away with subsidies. My farming friend is very happy with the £20k a year he gets for doing sweet FA.

& surrounding area. Unsure of the rest till we receive route book on start line. Makes it more fun.

Morlaix will be ok for petrol they are bike racing & regata normally this week. Lovely place

You have to give credit where due, at least when there's a grievance they go at it with real commitment, unlike the UK where it's a case of 'we're not happy so we are going on strike for a couple of hours' or maybe even a whole shift.
I was over there 20 years ago & the farmers were blocking the roads with burning straw bales, whilst the gendarmerie looked the other way ;)

Don't think they can intervene in protests, dates back to the Revolution. Try that in this country and the Miners strike springs to mind.:mad:
