As long as it fits in the break down truck you will be fineThank you i will follow that thread.
Yep I know you can't but as I travel to Germany at least 3 times a month that's where I want the over 70mph as my wife is taking the 350z and I get to have the dog in with me as the poor thing won't fit on my bike
what they are alluding too is the GM5 box on the Td6 models suffered from a very poor quality aluminium for the valve block...Why do you think I'm on here and

Also Butterkäse is a German cheese and is semi soft hence the name which translates into Butter cheese.
And again not being a smart arse
Thanks Ant, how's the apprentice?what they are alluding too is the GM5 box on the Td6 models suffered from a very poor quality aluminium for the valve block...
Excessive wear by the valves in the bores causes hydraulic leaks and slipping drive clutches. The Torque Converter lock up clutch tries to compensate for the slippage, and the friction material wears and dumps crud into the fluid - this then acts like a cutting paste and prematurely wears the friction linings on the clutch packs and the gearbox lunches itself!
Only real 'cure' if you can call it that is for a rebuild using a sonnax valve block....
Thank some solid infowhat they are alluding too is the GM5 box on the Td6 models suffered from a very poor quality aluminium for the valve block...

Now that we all know that Google is your friend, perhaps you could have used it to find out the gearbox is made in Saarbrücken, hence the reference to German cheese. May I suggest an attitude adjustment or it will end up your only source of help.. Even the gentleman known as Saint will give up on you, should you continue in this vein. Why do you think I'm on here and

We would have told you that if you had asked before you purchased the car. If the seller is prepared to refund your money then snatch his hand off.Thank some solid info
Your wrong very wrong on both accounts. For 1 google is crap i use wolfram alpha and that works better when cross referencing on a vpn via Citrix. I give what I receive you made a comment about cheese so I let you know that the cheese you was on about was German I spent most of my child hood there and like I have said before if I've come across rude I apologise I don't mean toNow that we all know that Google is your friend, may I suggest an attitude adjustment or it will end up our only source of help.. You are trying desperately to get the backs up on the very people who can actually help you, should you be stuck with that lemon.
This is the last response from this call sign, as I refuse to engage with someone who asks for help then tries to be an internet warrior. Good luck with your future problems

Point taken and post digested and again thank you for your advice and info.As there is an apology, this call sign will respond.
I would firstly advise you take off your "only I know this" hat. I would then advise you pay a little more attention to the various backgrounds and knowledge bases of those on this site. We are many and varied, we live/have lived in every Country of the known World and work/ed in every field. Very few, if any , of us require someone to translate butterkase. I most certainly do not.
If you feel that post was not in the vein of smart ass, then without offence intended , I can only think you are working on the ASD scale. Which would lead me to say, re-read everything before you post it, and understand what is acceptable in the AG forum , is not acceptable outwith it.
As said before I wish you luck with your Range Rover problems. If it does not go back, this will be the first of many times you need help from the guru's, such as Saint, HC, Wammers, etc on here. If it goes back and you consider another, come here first and read up on what to watch out for.
You're welcome.Point taken and post digested and again thank you for your advice and info.
