For many years I have used photobucket to post photo's on LZ. They have all stopped working because I won't pay the ransom. For this reason I have moved to another provider. I plan to relink all photo's over the festive period to make them work again.

Now yer probably wondering why I'm telling you this. What I need is a bit of help spotting where the photo's are. If yer see one of my fred's or posts with the photobucket pic as below, can yer let me know? Either post a link to it on this fred or like the post and I'll see it. I will then repair the photo so it works again.

Missing sales brochures will be available soon. LR original brochures are still on ere to download. Brochures I don't have as original pdf's will be supplied as scanned pdf's rather than putting up separate pages. Still downloadable but easier to manage.

I moved all my photo's over 12 months ago before all the PB gate scandal, quite a few threads on our R40 & MGZT forums have been devastated by PB ransom, lots of members have given up even trying to put the threads right, good luck with sorting it out you will need quite a long time to do so,

Why not simply host them here Hippo? That way they'll always be on the thread where you put them.;)
I did think of that but I want them available for use on several sites. I'm putting the code under each pic this time so I can search for them in future. Sadly I can't search for words like photobucket on ere, to find my pic's.

Makes sense Hippo.
I'll keep a look out. ;)

Lot of work but nice one for doing it for others .. ;)

ICBA, if anyone wants my pics just ask .. I've been hosting direct to LZ for a while now though, so much easier .. ;)

Freelander sales brochures... I've been looking to put these back anorl. Previously they were scanned, cleaned up, then put on ere as photo's to display the FL1 sales brochures. I also have a number of FL2 brochures to put up anorl (some already on ere as pdf's from LR).

This got me thinking... do peeps have any problem with me putting the missing sales brochures up as my own created scanned pdf's?

Yer would still be able to download them as pdf's to keep, look at and print. It's easier to manage when putting them online but I appreciate peeps using phones may not be able to view them. Yer can still zoom into them and the detail will be there.

edit: I will make them available in pdf for download as it's easier.

Oh that's a bit harsh....somebody takes the time to do a service it should be welcomed not ****ed on
Hey, I was just answering a question.

I could have said nothing. Everybody could have said nothing, and Hippo thinks nobody really gives a feck.

Its obviously not the most valuable resource on LZ, but it is a resource and I'm sure there are people who will find them interesting and possibly useful.

All feedback is welcome including grumpy.

One of the reasons for fixing the content is to keep the history on ere usable. Forums have been going quiet for a while now including this one. Some have started to charge new members to join. A number have closed suddenly and another recenlty had to move site as it was chopped by the owner of many years. I can appreciate the financial burden and reasoning behind the changes. Re-creating the brochures is taking longer than I eggspected but they is on their way.

It would be good if we could keep LZ relavent and up to date. Only this morning they said ont news it takes 500 years for plastic to rot away. That means our Freelander's will be around for many hundereds of years ont road. Owners will need the info on ere to help keep their Freelanders going for many years to come.
