Hi, it's silver 2002 td4 and yes is manual. I have never done this job before. Need asvice

It easier to remove the nearside front wheel to get at it, as it's on the lower rear of the gearbox.. There is a clip on the connector that needs to slide off in order for the plug to be removed...you'll need a long socket too ...

It’s easier if you also remove the splash guard I think it was either a 17mm or 19mm long socket (Can’t remember) be careful if you are using a short socket as it could snap the switch in place as mine did, When I took the new switch back out because it didn’t work. I invested in a good test meter and tested the old switch for continuity and it was perfectly fine so a tenner down the tube but experienced gained.
