Hi All,
As the title, when I start the Td5 it runs on the first go. However sometimes it just doesn't have the power for a short while but it picks up after a bit. It is just when I drive off it doesn't have the power but within a few seconds it regains power and drives perfectly after that.

It doesn't always do it. Any ideas?

OK no oil in the red plug. I had a fault code though: injector 1 open circuit detected

I saw the airflow gr/hr on 4.3, am i looking at the right one? If so it is no where near 50-60.

Are these issues related?

The injector open circuit can be caused by injector loom even if there's no oil in the red plug YET, that MAF reading means the sensor or it's wiring is fubar'd, unplug it and drive it so, if it's noticeable improvement buy a new VDO one if no change check the wiring cos it used to get chaffed in front of the engine where it goes down, and check fuse F2 in engine bay too just to be ruled out

Cheers, I will do that. Thanks for your time again Sierraferry.

OK, disconnected the MAF, not sure if it made a difference. It seemed to be better in lower refs. While disconnected it still did the less power for a few seconds thing.
F2 is fine. It looks like the wiring was done before so it might be worth investigating.

Injector open circuit is usually a fault on the injection loom, probably contaminated with oil so worth changing it
