Selector issues on R380 gearbox - quick question

Right, my torsion spring has slowly filed itself down against the 'forks' of the pivot pin (see image below). Is it possible to simply replace the forks as it seems nuts to spend £50 on a whole new shifter when it is only the pins that are worn? The missus couldn't get reverse this morning, I could and then couldn't so It needs sorting asap.

The ball will be worn and also the socket in the housing. A bit of grease now and again would have helped.

No problem but if someone else had used a bit of grease you wouldn't have a problem would you?

Arse, not quite a ten quid problem as I first hoped. Will have a tinker and try get it something like and then order some new bits.

Did you notice the error. Last link changed to spring FRC7414 now instead of duplicate FRC7155. Fat fingers fail again.

I did notice the error but knew what you meant! Thanks for correcting that anyway.

you should get away with changing just the pin rather than whole lower lever ukc3092

Was looking earlier and couldn't quite figure how the pin was held in place, it may perhaps kinda defeats the point if I have to order a 2 quid pin then spend a tenner on liquid metal when a whole jobbie is 20 quid. To add a little more, the housing is pretty mullered too at the 1st and 2nd end of the guide. I have stripped it this lunchtime and greased it all up, feels much better now but will order the lot and assemble on my desk for a 15 minute swap one morning.

Ordered all parts listed by user Wammers through Island 4x4 (this is where you tell me there is a forum discount!). Also added to that list a new yoke bushing (part number Selector Yoke Bush FRC5859 for reference). £63.02 all in, hopefully the dude I bought the truck off will honour his 1 month warranty on engine and gearbox
