Cheers chaps yeah back from the moving run, still got to find out what the hell is wrong with the schizophrenic battery that its got on it at the moment.

Drove 60 miles, pulled into a car park switched the engine of for 10 minutes and it wouldn't restart. Jumped it from a spare battery I had collected from my parents drove it 50 feet into a proper parking space and left it for 1:30 and it restarted quite happily!

You either have a duff alternator or a duff battery. Or a bit of both.

Or a dodgy connection from the battery to earth or battery terminals.

I'm suspecting diff battery as have tried a new alternator on it as it did have an alternator fault message (now cured) could just be a bad connection as iv had it to bits this afternoon and reconnected/copper slip/ jiggle around and it seems better...

Copper slip will not guarantee a good connection.
