Howies lending me a 32mm spanner so I'm hoping that'll do the trick! Just need to get a short section of scaffold bar

I've no idea when the main drain plug was undone! So I'm guessing a long time. The other two came undone easy as fook so I kind of had my hopes up that this was an easy job... Oh well at least it'll be easier in the future!

Usually have mine set in imperial as well, and some of the imperial measurements are easier to estimate, lake the foot and the inch. I still cant visualise a hectare, but I have got a lot better with metric, it is fine for spanners sizes,and a must for working on the house, almost all the building stuff is metric sizes.

If the spanner is a good fit, try tapping it round with a hammer as james said. The shock is much better to shift a stuck plug than a steady pull.

Nice area to live apart from the rich dipsticks, bit drier than the West, lot of good arable ground, I have worked up there years ago, not in Leiston itself though.

Yep they ruin it tbh. They actually look down their noses at us and would rather we were in the minority. Leistons alright though, all commoners together

Okay thanks, I'll try that! The others I've used have been a **** fit so the hammer just helped round the edges off a bit :/ I'll have to buy one at some point but I couldn't find anywhere that had one in stock today!

I've also been using plusgas...

i find they round off at times , i have a collection of plugs just in case i need the chisel, which is the ultimate shifting device

Luckily howie is going to try dog out a spare plug and is also going to lend me a chiesel! Too man

Hopefully that lot should help shift it! Is it wise to grease up the threads when refitting the plugs?

I don't just don't overtighten, and undo it at least every year.

Ah the chisel I've used that many times on my old race quads when people overtightened and then the alloy head rounded off chisel never failed to undo but just make sure you have a spare plug cus you'll need it after chiseling your old one to bits

I just filled it back up so I can use it today! It took a hell of a lot of ATF considering I just undone the one drain plug although to be fair I did let it drain for aaaaaaages!

Now packing to go to thetford, want to do a few lanes but will have to steer clear of water as I've snapped my rear axle breather off

they hold lesss than 3 litres from empty , and breather pipes are no barrier to water entering

So even if I go deeper than where it's snapped in the axle it won't take in water?

A friend of mine ground down in depth a 6 point 32mm socket. Got a breaker bar on it and it released. He ground it down as there is little room between the drain plug and prop.

I also think so of the oil filter sockets that are short in depth 32mm may fit. Which are 6 point and allow you to get a breaker bar on (just about). And crack the drain plug

I'll keep a look out for one of those of this doesn't solve it
Just before I leave, does anybody know what James meant by his reply, am I safe for now with the breather like this or will it take in water and knacker my diffs?
