TD5 gear box in a 300TDI ..mainshaft part number needed

Hi i am trying to swap a 1999 TD5 discovery gearbox and transfer box into a 2002 300TDI 110 pickup ex army (Trinidad and tobago army) . yes is an original 2002 300tdi .

i have most of the parts like bellhousing ,defender gearleavers and adaptor but i need the correct shorter 300tdi highgear or main shaft part in the pic below the gearbox # is 73A 0731549L i have a shaft from a" J " series gearbox but it is different ,i dont have the original gearbox that came with the vehicle so i dont know what it had . if anyone can point me to the correct main shaft that would be great

input shaft (constant pinion), if you have a td5 suffix l box you wish to fit 300 tdi input youd need tud102580, input bearing is larger on suffix k and l compared to suffix j

James you are the man .. thank you for clearing that up i just didnt want to order the wrong part from way out here in the west indies .

also i will order a new bearing for it but will all the other parts from the TD5 work like syncros and inner bearing ?

inner bearing ukc8l are the same on all r380s as are the other bearings except rear layshaft ,baulk rings are the same to as are synchro hubs, the only parts of box that differ from disco /defender apart from the top are the selector shaft and yoke ,def users a quadrant and so a slightly longer selector shaft

thats good news for me that its all the same ... i have made adapters to fit the defender quadrant to the shorter selector before so thats no problem its just getting the correct input shaft was hard because i counted at least 13 different part numbers for it .

will the pivot ball for the TD5 the same as the 300tdi? because it fits on the release bearing collar but i am unsure of the length difference ,if there is any .
