Hi guys need help with my boot

Opened it last night, and the bottom section wont open,(the drop down bit) then tried to close the top top bit and now that wont close now, anyone know if there's a fix for this? I did spray some WD40 all around, but it didn't help

Just to say, the electronics seem to be working fine, I can hear them when I press the button

Latch either knackered by slamming the top gate or something has come adrift. Take the inner panel off and take a look. Usual problem with top not shutting is a broken piece of plastic in the latch. New latch needed.

You should be able to get inner cover off with lower gate shut. Never tried it but can't think of a reason why not off hand. Unless flip down cover fouls it.

Sorted thanks wam... just the old grease has been in there so long, it was hard, so gave it a good clean and lube then some fresh molly in it, works better than ever
