That's kind of what I was after except mine just has a hole cut into the wing directly in front of the windscreen and the snorkel goes in there

Nope, literally just a pipe into the wing. It's a proper snorkel but not a fancy type

How much tube you want ? I've got about a foot (maybe more) of aluminium flexi tube here 2.5" bore I think may be bigger

You can take it with you when you collect the axle
