Hi guys whilst changing my leak of pipes I noticed a plug under my inlet manifold It hasn't got anything plugged into it? What could it be? Should there be anything plugged in?

Many thanks

What year of car EGR or non EGR? Does it have an alloy manifold? Plug under front of alloy manifold is Inlet air temp sensor. EGR cars with plastic manifold don't have this.

Hi Wammers, it's got the EGR fitted and has a alloy manifold although it's blanked with the 50p method ;) should it have something plugged into it? I cant seem to find any lose plugs?

Must have had an engine change Land rover engine with EGR should have a plastic manifold. If it has EGR and a MAF sensor it does not need anything to be plugged into the inlet air temp sensor. With the EGR wiring loom there will not be a plug to plug into it.

That's great! And yes had a engine change middle of last year. I'm glad it's not needed worried me when I found it. I thought that could have been the culprit for the slightly lumpy starts never mind. Cheers wammers

Lumpy starts will be a couple of duff glow plugs.

This site really is great thanks I'll order some this evening any brands you'd recommend? And which should I steer clear of?
