Which ABS ECU?

The correct one as some have said SRD 100501 I have a couple of tested units here if you get stuck

Well not stuck per se, but I don't have that money to shell out this month. Cheapest black one on ebay is 180+

I have tc and abs lights on all the time. Had an Indy run the diagnostics, and it said left rear and right front sensors shorted. From threads on here I reasoned that the most likely cause was the ecu. But that was when I thought I could try it out for £20. Now they are more, I'm having second thoughts..

Changing the sensor maybe a better first option.

The fault came up last month, and it seems too much of a coincidence that 2 sensors would fail at the same time.

OK good point, i just scanned it and missed the reference to two. Have you opened the ECU to have a look if there is any contamination. Moisture can do strange things to electronics.

If diagnostics indicates a short between sensors, it would seem it is always a duff ECU

The LR and RF are next to each other in pin outs, so maybe moisture on the board? Don't know but worth a look.

Good plan, that's what I was going to do, hence the questions yesterday on where to find it. I'll be having it out at the weekend.

Yep good call, the two I have been involved with went to a garage after diagnosis so it was a swap it out job.
