Hi all, hoping some of you maybe able to shed some light on a problem I have with my Defender.

Was out on a little jolly this morning of a few local lanes. Car was quite happy moving between high and low box, where needed. On my way back home (in high) I suddenly lost all drive, and rolled to a stop. I could select any gear and release the clutch, and nothing happened.

I then put it into low box and was able to drive it home, but still cannot get high range. So the clutch is good, but have no drive in high range.

Could this be something do with the linkage or selectors?

Be grateful if anyone has ideas where to start looking.

Many thanks.

yes ,it can bend ,theres grub scre in selector housing on t/box held on with 5 bolts that can come loose allowing internal lever to become loose you can tell with the amout of free play on outer lever
