GKN Overdrive & Handbrake

Hi I fitted a GKN over drive to my Defender 90 TD5. I had a problem with the handbrake cable.

I bent it round as described but now the handbrake won't release properly. I have readjusted the handbrake cable but still no good.

Has anybody had the same or got any ideas?

Its pinched it as the bend could be to tight

fit a new cable ,they will fit but it is tight and refilling t/box isnt made easier
