Have seen it before. Interesting program. Much betterer than the current "I want that car" crap. Only saw the one where he wanted a 4x4 and got board after 20 mins. Also seen peeps selling gear levers etc on the web.

a 4x4 is born was good too

i like that tv vet (though he does spend an absolute fortune doing the vehicles up)

them gear knobs are all over eblag but i bet the quality is pants

Anyway to add a bit of info ...Anyone with a pre facelift with the original leather gearknob - if the leather is worn discoloured and looks horrible just cut the stitches and peel off the leather and you will have a plastic one underneath thats like new (once the glue is removed ).

Sorry to drag this from the depths but, does anyone know how to remove the Automatic gear knob from a Freelander 1? The gaiter is completely perished and I need to change it.

Pull straight up, takes some force though

I assumed it was the FL1 not FL2. Some clarification might be useful, as the selector knob is different.
