not sure wot peeps mean by deep wading? I've got normal fuel cap (with lock) and been in water up to windscreen with no probs. unless you planning in getting stuck in a metre of water for a long time then you'll be fine ( and if you do ur gonna have way bigger probs than some watery diesel to worry about!)
