how do you service rear boot button ?????????? cheers mozz
Hope you mean the handle as the spring diameter is about 28mm from memory. Piano wire from a model airplane shop makes a good spring.Take it out, clean, make new spring from thick wire round a screwdriver of suitable size, grease up when installing so it cannot collect water.
Remember to use new one of these: RANGE ROVER P38 Tailgate Release Button Seal (ALR5252) | eBay

Mozz, the contacts in the connector to the button corrode, hard to see, even harder to clean but cured all the random door locking/unlocking and boot failing to open problems on mine.
