If you get the corner of the nut hit it just enough to shock it on the corner hitting downward clockwise with a chisel and hammer might just break the nut then carry on with spanner

Think I've sorted it now he was hitting the spanner attached to the nut and also hammering the nut with a lever bar as I'm sure people know its needs to be a long punch or somthing straitened the curve of the pry bar will miss direct he force of the blow as it has a curve on the end of the bar if it can't come of I pop over for him at some point .
