hi im after some wheel bearings for a 2001 freelander but havent got a clue what to purchas as there is a few eny help would be apreciated thanks

Stay away form britpart and don't forget to replace the driveshaft nut.

Not without knowing your chassis number. Click on the famous four link at the top of this page, have your chassis number handy, you be able to find the part from there.

Got bearins but can't get the big nut off behind the hub dose it turn clock wise or anti clock wise

to take it off its anti clock wise there over 300nm so u need a big bar and brute force when i did mine it was a right b***h to get off but once started it was fine

You have used a punch or driver to unstake the lip of the nut where it is locked into place on the driveshaft?.......just checking.

its not necessary to

the nut has a flange that you knock part of it in to stop it from turning make sure that it is out ,but I have done it with out doing that as said it is a high pressure 290lbs per foot so you will need along bar ,and just check about which way the thread goes because I thought it was a left handed thread but it has been a while since I did one and I am away from home so can not check for you. hope this helps

i have replaced all of my ABS rings in the last 2 months and all of my driveshaft nuts undid anti clockwise

not trying to say im wrong or wrong im just saying what mine was
