I gave my Disco 300 tdi the treatment today. New oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter, cleaned the gauze filter in the lift pump, new diff oil in both diff's, new oil in the transfer box, greased props and UJ's, adjusted hand brake because it wasn't releasing properly and topped her up with 25 litres of my best bio diesel. I don't know about the Land rover, but I feel better :D

I might even buy an air freshener

Typical! That good feeling didn't last long because this evening, the push rod went through the clutch fork. Got a hell of a job on my hands now to get it sorted before I go back to work next week. I was only thinking how much I loved my disco today and now I f***ing hate it!

Ha ha, we'll its a bloody hard job if you've never done it before. :D
I've struggle and cursed all day with it and now I'm shattered and I hurt all over! Got the gearbox all bolted up to the engine, but got to put everything else back together tomorrow.

I really hope I don't have to do this a few times! :)

And, for anyone who hasnt had the pleasure, here's what it looks like when the pivot ball busts through the clutch fork.
