hi all
I'm new to range rovers I've just bought a 2003 range rover hse which I'm having a problem with
when driving it it seems to twitch / wander this seems to happen as I shut off the accelerator or when I brake also over bumps in the road I've had 2 new Rear Suspension Height Sensor's fitted as the old ones were hanging off but this hasn't fixed the problem.
can any one suggest what I can try next please as I'm at a total loss & I don't want to drive the car as I don't think it feels safe
all help greatly appreciated
thanks

not great news for me then this is starting to sound costly:(
Get hold of the RAVE workshop manuals (do a search on here you'll find them)

It will detail the suspension layout and also the replacement procedures and see if your able to spanner them yourself...

You either have to be handy with a spanner and Volt meter with a Range Rover, or if you have to rely on a garage to do your work, you are going to have a very close and personal relationship with your bank manager and cheque book.

A Range Rover and a budget are not a good combination! They will test your patience, relationship, wallet and heart greatly, but you will never want to be without it!

well ive replaced my ride hight sensors as they were hanging off had it all reset on the computer & that hasn't fixed the problem ive been told that I might have a leak in one of the air bag's would this cause the problem im having ???
thanks all

Your original post was about wandering steering....

Whilst a worn out Air Strut will offer odd handling, it would be prudent to check your ride height measurements and then leave the car over night, and before you unlock or start the car the next morning remeasure and see if the ride heights have dropped at all.

Most cases for wandering will be down to worn bushes, steering joints or Tyre Pressures as advised earlier, get these checked out too!
