Anyone done a side exit on a puma?

Has anyone put a side exit on their puma? I'm thinking of doing this to Rosie, but I'm after getting a nice note, so do I remove back box or mid box? And would it be best to put exit in front of wheel arch or behind?

I do realise the puma engine sounds like a bag of ballast so the words 'nice note' could be swapped for 'betterish note'

ive got a straight through to cherry bomb on my 200tdi and no probs with last m.o.t

Might be worth doing a bit more research on this before committing. I Know nowt about puma's but it is basically a transit engine and they don't like any modding. Me & beasty have just accquired 50ltrs of kerosene/diesel mix, after someone filled up up their 06 transit and it spat it's dummy blew a silencer wide open and refused to drive. Cos it didn't like the fuel.

yes poppy tryed it straight through just sounded like a blowing exhaust the cherry bomb gives it a nice note and its not to loud

Might have a natter with 'five' then. As the guys I use haven't done a puma engined side exit and five were fairly helpful bunch.

good point mate id take back box of and bolt cherry bomb on and run it first before doing any cuting

Ok thank you will have a natter with a few peeps who tune and have built system for the puma see what they suggest, redhand is right that the engine is temperamental

That'll go alright in a proper dezul tho wont it?

You can ditch the mid box an decat it an it won't be loud as the rear box is the silencer

You will get about £120-£150 for the cat if you take it to local cat man but don't take it to local scrap yard they don't pay as much
