Hi peeps need a little help pleeeaaassseee.
I have read the posts on gearbox oil... mtf 94 dextron 3 etc...
My story starts as the gearbox was alittle cruchy i decided to change the oil, bought some from a landrover specialist in a unstickerd tub, changed oil and noticed a differance. There was a lot of milky white stuff decided to change again to clear it all out. Called at euro car parts and they recommended this

Are any of these anygood??
The one i picked up today does say MTF 94 and he shown me on computer that it was recommened.
Cheers....

I recently changed my gearbox oil. The oil I drained out was ATF and I replaced it with MTF 94, which was like treacle in comparison. Now, on cold mornings, until the motor has warmed up, my gear changes are a bit notchy, especially first to second. Once everything is up to temp it's really smooth.

I have the same problem with mtf94. When its frosty oil needs time to warm up otherwise second gear is near impossible to find. Same as you once warm its as smooth as a defender box can be.
