P38, Showing a warning that fuser 2 (heated seats) is blown, thou on inspection fuse is ok. this fuse also covers the rear right window , which works fine.
any idears how to clear message, have tried differnt fuse

i take it there is someone on here who can fix, sort the BECM issues. Is there a reset process for the BECM

Maybe all it needs is the connectors cleaned and the insides or the BECM drying out. If the fault is withing the BECM electronics, Rick the Pick is your man.

datatek,

more info, if i switch both heated seats on, fault on fuse 2 still shows on startup and switch off.
thou the fault warning is not repeated whilst driving, again switch of heated seats and warning returns every few minutes.

question, is fuse box the issue, or could it be an issue with heated seats, all comments welcome, thou be nice.

regards graeme

The seat switches don't actually turn the seats on the BECM does. So whatever the problem is, that is where it lives. Maybe a bit of damp, maybe a bad connection.

+1 on that, but if the elements in the seat or the wiring has a short it may upset things. I'd disconnect the heater elements at the under seat connectors and see if the fault goes away.
