Front Diff Change

Goin to be changing my front diff on my 300tdi defender this weekend. is there any tricks i need/should know to do it right? iv got all the bits i need i hope. Diff, which woul;d be handy, gasket and oil. torque wrench and axel stands. Any other bits and bob i need??

Just undo the ring of bolts on the axle casing/swivel flange and pull the lot out a couple of inches. Saves disturbing Hubs bearings etc.

you got any rtv sealet to put on gasket both sides

you got any rtv sealet to put on gasket both sides

don't bother with paper gasket just use sillycoont seal

but ya do what redhand said will save a lot of time
