As titled here we go again ! My bloody car has decided to start throwing faults up again with the flipping air suspension ! We had it on a ramp cleaned an adjusted back brakes. When i drove off down road "off road max speed 30mph" came on air susp inactive came on even though it was in normal ride height ! Plugged it in to reader faults are 21 rear height sensor fault ( even though they are all brand new no bared wires an fitted correctly ) and the other is 64 articulation validity fault ( which i believe to be related to height sensor ) !!!!! WTF is going on with this car ????? The voltage readings on sensors are
front left 47.6
front right 2.99
rear left 1.76
rear right 0.51
Why is the front left so high an rear right so low ? Also can anyone post me a picture of the rear brackets the height sensors fit to cos to me they look odd ?? For instance i thought they wud be opposite but one looks like its upside down or summat ?
HELP PLEASE AGAIN ! Forgot to mention its logged a hard fault too so will it drop to bump stops ?

Don't quote me on this but I seem to remember reading that the sensor design has been updated and its possible to fit them upside down or back to front or similar. I would start there.

They are all fitted properly mate they are all sided an rears can only go one way there has been no problem wat so ever for weeks till we had it on ramp today i need a picture of the rear height sensor brackets cos summat dunt look right ti me with them ?

If you are confident the height sensors are all good and reading correctly I would look closer at the articulation validity fault. This is normally logged when an air spring leaks. When the crosslink valves are open to allow side to side movement of air the ecu expects to see a rise on one sensor height and a fall in the opposite side.(Making the car behave like a beam axled car)
I suppose it could also mean that the crosslink valves arent working, but I've not seen that yet. When the air springs leak badly enough you also get the "Too much energy required for regulation" fault too.

Yep that's how the osr bracket looks ! And exactly how they r fitted ? Wat do you reckon to the readings ? been lookin at the car an it's still not dropped to the stops yet ? The voltages are weird also wen we checked the height readings the osr was not registering ? They have been checked an double checked to be the correct ones for the vehicle ( xenon lights ) even changed the osr one it's been fine since we did all the work until havin it on ramp today ? I've checked they r all how they should be eg not spun 180 degrees etc ? It's lower than normal but not on the deck yet so I'm stumped ?

Just to update the car has not sunk to the bump stops ? Can anyone advise ? Why are the voltage an height readings as they are ? I'm stuck as to wat to do next ? Obviously I've thought should I change height sensor again but why could the NSF be reading so high ? Also just took car for a drive HDC DTC ABS lights all come on

Cheers mate yes ive read this post did wat he told me to do to test this problem but it wasnt my cause ? Like i say its the voltage readings/height sensors or something electrical that causing this fault im certain as my voltage readings are severely different from nsf to osr ? The faults logged were to do with a height sensor articulation fault ?

Sounds like you need to check for wiring/connector problems from the sensors to the EAS ECU. Any water in the spare wheel well by any chance? If there is have a look at the connectors around the compressor and check for corrosion.

No water in wheel well bone dry checked as much wire under car as poss gents plugs cleaned with electrical spray cleaner ? Its the readings that confuse me ??? Wat readings would you want to look at rs2000 ??? Also one thing i seem to remember wen i was havin problems before an autoelectrician test virtually all wires with a continuity test an all was ok ???

Totally confused....

Have you had a look at the mounts on both sides of the car...is the angle of the sensor arm in the same relative angle to a reference point on the car on both sides or is one at more of an angle than the other side??

If I remember, I will see if I can crawl under mine at lunch time tomorrow and see what I can see....

The rear sensors seem to mirror each other both angles are the same ? If anyone could id really appreciate a photo of both rear sensors an brackets if poss ? We tried to calibrate today the vehicle went up to 830-850 we entered exact measurements (with an without 25mm deduction for 22" wheels) but made no difference soon as i hit 30mph system shut down an wen i hit high speeds all other warning lights came on ????? One thing to mention the car is perfectly level all round and hasnt hit the bump stops ???

Did you only get Air Susp. Inactive or did you get HDC inactive too??

I take it the only fault cods logged are for the EAS...and nothing about ABS Sensors or a CANbus fault?

This might be a long shot but going with above and the fact that you have calibrated the car to be level, are you absolutely sure the air suspension ecu isn't working against you because the l322 by design sits 10mm lower on the rear. Maybe calibrating it then driving it afterwards the ecu is by design is trying to correct your measurement and once it fails after X amount of corrections its throwing a hard fault. I'd calibrate 10mm lower on the rear and see how it goes
