Hi all my 04 deisal range rover has been displaying this for the last week. Also if I lower the susspension it will not go back up straight away but if i go for a drive by the time I have reached my destination it has gone back up . Wondered if they were related any ideas.

Thanks
Greg

Thanks for your replies is there a diagnostic machine that I can purchase as I have a feeling it will get used quite a lot with this car. Also if air compressor has had it is it something I could replace.

Thanks
Greg

whats your budget ?

a good all rounder is a unit called "All Comms" made by a company called RSW solutions.

have a search for it.

otherwise you can go down the BBS MSV2 extreme which is slightly pricey as recently finding out myself.

but it does the whole hog, including everything land rover have access to !

im soon to be purchasing one for my L322 :)

Depending on how much money you have lol...

  • RSW Solutions All Comms - £200ish - reads faults and clears them Calibrates EAS, not VIN Locked
  • Gap Diagnostics IIDTool - £250ish - Reads and Clears Faults, Calibrates EAS, minor BCU functions (Wish I had known this was around b4 I got the All Comms as for £50ish more it is quite a powerful little tool) VIN Locked
  • Bearmach Hawkeye - £320-350ish - Live Data, Read & Clear Faults, no EAS Calibration, Vin Locked
  • BBS Faultmate MSV/Extreme - £800+ - Uber-mega-super machine does everything you could want including BCU Programming and Settings Modifications...
Compressor replacement is dead simple basics are:

Remove Spare Wheel, unplug Compressor multiplug and air hose (no high pressure to be worried about as it is all held on the valve block under car), unbolt the mounting bolts and lift out...replace with new in reverse order!!
