Just fitted some 35w 6000K HIDs to the dipped beam, very impressed. I'm looking at doing the main beam too but can't decide whether to get another set of 35w 6000K's or 55w 6000K's.
Has anyone fitted the 55w version?

thank's diesel doThey have to have self levelling and Cleaning systems. And be the correct lamps! So if you swap everything from a HID vehicle you're fine. Standard lamps give an incorrect beam pattern with HID fitted as well! Think after market kits should all be marked not for road use! Then there's the insurance issue? What happens if you have an accident and your lights are deemed not legal? Not insured??? Dunno
I put osram xenon gas filled bulbs in mine. It makes a worthwhile difference![]()
you for got one thing the hids will melt the plastic lens
