ABS TC fault coincedence?

Hi all,
Range rover broke down on motorway with wife and baby grandson on board, water pump bearing failure resulting in the drive belt coming off. Car recovered, I've put a new water pump and belt on, took for test run, brake pedal rock hard when i went to brake, then worked thank god as i was approaching a traffic island, Abs fault and Traction fault on display. The system resets when ignition turned off then the same again. Low brake fluid has also been displayed which it isn't. Checked underneath for any damage during recovery nothing obvious. There was no problems before breakdown?

unrelated and a total coincedence me thinks - time to check the ABS relay, Boost pump fuses, etc - also a diagnostics to read the ABS codes will help....

If the pedal is hard with little braking effort, I would think the boost pump isn't working and/or the accumulator is empty....(accum. could be good just hasn't been charged by the boost pump due to pump failure)....

See if you can bridge the contacts and see if the Boost pump works on a direct 12V supply, if it doesn't then bingo - if it does time to qualify the Pressure switch.

Could also be the ABS Modulator - but gets the codes read first....!!

Checked the pump last night kicks in every second press of the brake pedal.
The fault seems to be speed related the ABS fault warning comes on at around 25mph, the car brakes fine once the fault as locked out. Does the traction failure fault have to be reset? said fault comes on with ignition.Not had chance to have codes read yet. Is the car safe to drive and tow a caravan, on holiday from Monday plus son's wedding on Saturday.
PS Have reseated sensors.

Any suspicion of a brake problem and I would not think of going anywhere let alone towing a caravan

Vehicle certainly not safe to drive IMHO.To try and tow would be irresponsible and may just be the last holiday you ever take.
