What oil and how much?

I couldn't think of a better section to put this in so my apologies if its in the wrong place. Basically my sturdy little bottle jack decided to have a hissy fit and the wee rubber plug on the side which holds all of the oil in was either torn out or popped out. Long story short I end up with oil all over the back of my bloody 90. What oil should I refill it with and how much?

It's one of these German ones that lidls sell from time to time. Good jack but I'm buggered if I know who manufactures it.

Jack oil is what you're after. It's labelled as such.

Or, if it was cheap, throw in the bin, and buy a new one

This, if is spewed oil chances are one of the seals has gone, they dont just leak for no reason, bin it and get a new one...

Jack oil? Good stuff, ill keep an eye out for it.

Can't afford to buy a new jack at the moment. Anyway I have the plug which was pulled out so all is well, I just need to top it back up again.
