Morning

Had squeaky suspension. Bloody annoying so i squirted WD40 on the track links etc.

Still squeaked so i decided to lower and higher the car a few time 8 times in fact.

The button to the left of the lower and hiring button was lit. The one that locks the level of the height of the car when you don't want it to change.

I could nit switch it off and received a message on the console

Inactive Air suspension. Level was still positioned at middle
(normal driving height). At home reset it all with ODBII RSWsolutions.
The left leveling position hold light went off and the console message went. looking good, but i cannot clear a message on rsw for air suspension. What is it... is it a major prob... what can i do....

compressor temperature static when compressor is active

thanks in advance

Rich

Open the boot, take the spare wheel out....close boot, leave boot floor up...!!

Get in close the doors....lower car to access, then once there raise all the way up to Off Road.....

Once it is at Off Road height - get out and quickly open tail gate, and place hand on Compressor Housing to feel if the compressor is pumping - if not either the compressor is duff or you had enough air in the tank to raise the car up (doubtful - which is why I suggested lowering and raising the car to ensure the tank level is low enough for the pump to cut in).....

It could be either the Compressor isn't working or the Temp switch is duff.....

I take it you are using the All Comms from RSW....

just though i have a donut lpg tank in the boot so no spare tyre so im going to have to find the compressor.

My pump or compressor growls like my disco when it raises and lowers so is that what you mean im looking for so is that what im hearing

When they fitted the tank they would have moved the Compressor to the side (mine has been moved forward - they cut into the boot floor wheel well to reposition the compressor)

My Compressor is deathly silent when running, can be felt with a hand on it, but so quiet I can't hear it at all.....

If yours is grumbling - that can mean two things the refitment when the tank was installed was a bit iffy and wasn't mounted on rubber mounts to dampen the vibrations or the compressor is getting knackered and it is starting to fail - anyother L322 Owners care to comment on Compressor noise/vibration as I am only going on how mine sounds!!??

as prev both disco 2 and rangie grumble on transfer to other height levels

im going to carry all out this weekend and yes you are correct there is a load of spaghetti in front of donut tank

ta will get back

Or it's in metal to metal contact with some part of the car.
