2 issues. How to get stub axle nut off and vibration

Firstly im trying to replace the cv gaitor on my p38 but stubbled at the first hurdle.
I cannot move the nut off the stub axle end. My 600mm braker bar with a extention over it wont budge it. #A mate came round last night and shattered his britool breaker bar :doh:. Any ideas on this one.

Secondly im getting a vibration from the engine at 3000 revs in drive but also in neutral stationary, so im thinking engine mounts . Is this correct ?

They all vibrate! Check the crank damper/pulley assembly. If it's a manual, think DMF.

First of all knock back the stake on the nut then use a 3/4" socket set to remove the nut. Many 1/2" breaker bars are not up to the job unless you have a Stahlwille or Snap-on one. Steady pressure on the bar, NO snatching on it. And turn it the correct way of course.

The Wammer Beat me to it.....steady pressure, yanking and bouncing will only lead to breaking the bar knuckle or pulling the car off stands
