Me and the women? How many women are you trying to get in there?

I don't have a roof tent but it's on my list of things I'd like to buy!

Personally I think the roof tent is a waste of money unless you are somewhere that warrants it, at the end of teh day its a tent thats hard to get into and will be getting blown around by every bit of wind there is... get a normal tent for £100 and it will be great quality and just as comfy!

Or get a sanky trailer and convert a trailer tent, thats what I keep thinking of doing...

got mine off ebay, or you could try terrain in hastings there good quality and not bad price.
Use mine for fishing weekends etc,, am thinking about a shankey and puting it on that, but its fine where it is at the mo

Mine takes just a couple of mins to erect, doesn't flood in heavy rain, doesn't blow around much in high winds, is warmer than a normal tent and doesn't require an air bed or kip mat. It also weighs just 20kg so is pretty light too. The downside is that if the weather is bad you don't have anywhere dry to sit and cook unless you have some sort of awning. My roof tent can also be used on the ground but pretty much all of the others would need packing away if you wanted to go any where. I wouldn't like to leave mine on the ground and then go out for the day though.

thanks a million guys. maybe will just stick with the wee tent on the ground. haha only one woman at a time.
i wouldnt want a trailer tent as would cost more on the boats and there already an arm and a leg.

Have you got one of those Hannibal Impi tents? I've been looking at getting one of those, think it'd be perfect for Le Mans next year... Especially after reducing my load capacity significantly, and after this year's horrors (tent wasn't waterproof, no awning so bought an awning at a supermarket, but it blew down ontop of us... nightmare haha)

Discobenji, I would recommend an Oztent if you've got some cash and plenty of load-space... 30 seconds to put up, 30 seconds to take down, and bloody good :D
