LandyZone at Bristol and west Show!!

Me and roy have been chatting to one of the organisers of http://www.bristolandwestlandrovershow.com/index.html His name is Mark Pattenden and he is a member on Landyzone as Discovery2man and he should now have a nice shiny orange username.

If you have a look on the website you will notice that the show isn't the normal commercialised show, it's for charity BLESMA

Basically Mark likes to set himself a bit of a challenge, and for this show he wants to have the record for largest Land rover gathering in one place. The Blesma challenge is to get more than 1000 Land Rovers into the shape of a Land rover for the record.

We are planning to have a club stand at the the show, and from speaking to Mark it sounds like it could be a very good weekend!.

So the question is, who is interested in having a LandyZone club stand? On the forms it says 8 vehicles per club, but Mark says that if we can raise more, he will find a way to accomodate us.

Its a really long way down isnt it

It hasnt got any road numbers on my phone but is it quicker to go down the motorway to reading and then across, left to bristol

Or go up on same motorway , and it loops round to join the long one straight down ?

It's not that far down, it's just that you're starting from the wrong place. Starting from here it's just down the road and no motorways involved.

There will be a good a few of us from the M5 down so it will be fine!

If anyone wants to come in place of the 2 that can't make it let me know. We could really do with keeping the numbers up. I have already paid for the 2 tickets so there is nothing to pay until the day (the down side to not taking deposits I suppose) It could be a very expensive weekend for me if nobody turns up

Oh and as for towing Si.. I will probably have a wee trailer on the back of me. I'm trying to sort a LZ mobile hospitality unit ..ok it will be a little box trailer but at least we can keep valuables and maybe even noisy generators in it.
