There's 3 bolts to remove. The 2 from the rear of the hub going to the subframe.......remove from the sub frame as shown to the right of the picture.
Then there is the long link from the hub going towards the front of the hippo......disconnect this at the body end (top arrow in the left of the picture).
The rest is as joe says.
Removing the hub nut just makes the job easier as you can remove the hub from the driveshaft and the support the shaft whilst you get a block of wood behind the diff end of the drive shaft and give it a tap with a rubber mallet to releaase it from the diff......you then have a bit more space to work in as well.
A thing to note is, if the seal starts leaking again soon after being changed then you will probably have to replace the carrier bearing in the diff although you would normally start hearing strange noises from the rear when these start to go.
