Damn, I have just thrown away my template, as just fitted mine....will check in the garage tonight to see if I still have it, or whether its gone the journey - but I am sure I have seen a template for the southdown on the forum on one of these recent snorkel threads.

As for attaching, I just used a load of Tiger Seal on mine ;)

Cheers Stu be a great help if you still have it, but if not not I'll have a search for this thread you speak of haha

Righto sounds pretty simple then I'll just put copious amounts of sealant behind it

yeah, do a bloody search - don't you know owt :p bloomin oldies :D

To be honest it stays in place by its own with the snorkel pipe, as I ran mine a few days to let it all 'settle' since mine is a DIY jobbie, and then sealed it yesterday

I's youngerer than you I only joined last year ;) you've been here since 2009 :p

Well I've just been given the price £55 posted :) so I'm happy with that, cant wait to get a snorkel fitted up then the wading kit will have to go on I suppose. Might order that at the same time so I can hook everything up all at once, have you done that part yet ?

Doesn't time fly when you are stuck on the drive fixing things

I have just today ordered this kit:-

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

Didn't think it a bad price, and seems to include everything I will need, so hopefully will get it in the next few days. Can let you know when it lands what the quality is like if you want?

Ta, just added it to my watch list :) If you let me know when you get it that'd be great

Oh the brackets there :p all thats missing is the plastic plugs for the airbox but I can fill them with small bolts and sealant. I wonder if my aluminium flexi exhaust pipe might work ? I've got a decent amount of it knocking about and its the right width

Yeah 2.5" would be 63.5mm :)

Hopefully here is a template and fitting instructions.

The template is A4 size so check that when printing it.

Update:

I have just saved and printed it and it is perfect, just make sure you print the actual size downloaded.
