except for hes missed the point there is room between seal and circlip for an extra spacer to do what he says but in reality as soon as box gets pressure seal is pushed against circlip and so away from needle bearing ,they often releak as shaft were seal sits pits and has worn groove

i dont mind steering box leaking as it leaves a nice film of oil all over the chassis and stops rusting(morning of MOT
