Mine is a tight enough fit to just slip on - no need for a clip and the bend is fine - perhaps someone cut the pipe off once.

For the turbo hoses I used 50 - 70mm, get the 1/2" wide ones:
55mm-70mm Silicone Hose Clips Stainless Steel x1 | eBay
You could use that size for all of them, but I feel that the 90degree bend joint with the EGR needs a 'T'Bolt clamp as that is where oil fumes from the turbo tend to gather and seep through, eventually dripping off. A 'Jubilee' is not able to be tightened enough without overloading it. 'T'Bolts need to be more accurately sized as they have a smaller range.
So I used this 64 -67mm one:

Very useful advice there. However I am just awaiting some DPH hoses could you do this as a shopping list ie. quantities needed of each clip.

OK - no problem.
Assuming you are going to replace all the hose clips:
For the smaller turbo hoses you need four
1/2" wide 55mm-70mm Stainless SteelSilicone Hose Clips
2 x 55 - 70MM JUBILEE HOSE CLIPS SILICONE AIR INDUCTION | eBay
Note - if you don't have the short turbo hose that connect to the air temp sensor then you only need 2 of the above 55 - 70mm clips.
For the 90 degree EGRpipe (which is a bigger diameter) you need one 64 -67mm 'T'-Bolt Clamp at one end

and you will also need one 51 - 70mm Jubilee for the other end

Doesn't the other pipe off the solenoid go to thr breather filter behind the air filter housing?

Singvogel just a quick one. I bought some of the silicone tubing for the vacuum pipe. The one that goes to the egr. Where does the other end finish? I had a look this morning but couldnt see as it goes under the egr bypass. Also where does the vacuum pipe from the t piece go to also. Just want to change them so the match the other silicone pipes.

I haven't changed mine (yet) as it's a sod to get to. I intend having a look to see if there is easier access from underneath, next time I have the undertray off

It goes to some contraption under the EGR valve. The "contraption" has 2 vacuum pipes going to it - one from the EGR valve and the other from the vacuum T-piece IIRC.

Yes - the 'contraption' is the EGR actuator solenoid I was referring to.
Having given it a few moments further thought - I won't get any better access from below. (Don't know what I was thinking of there!)
What I need is a 'mirror on a stick' and a double-jointed dwarf.

No problem Singvogel. Are they attached or just pushed on. I can feel the end I the vacuum but don't fancy pulling it to hard in case it breaks anything

I'll second that its not an issue taking the egr bypass off but just wanted to see if I could do it without removing it

This is the trouble with working blind - but as far as I know they should pull off - but they will probably have to be twisted at the same time to break the seal so to speak.
Last time I tried following along the pipe I couldn't detect any clips or such.
Be sure to let us know how you get on with this.
What size pipe did you get - 4mm?

Yes got the 4mm pipe. Got it from dph derby for a couple of quid. Like I say I know having the bypass on makes the vacuum pipes obsolete but hey if I can change them to look like the silicone pipes I got then I will I'll have another look later on. Cheers chaps

intercooler 'out' was trying to go a.w.o.l. .. so a reclamp was needed
and have just installed the synergy box ..
taking a cuppa 'n cigi break
no .. those vacuum hoses do not have clips on them ..
i've a mirror handy
shall just go recheck .. as the hoses from the vacuum pump itself
.. leading to a blimp like container i think do have clips .. there like plastic hoses ..
( i'll go recheck just now )
btw .. that cam sensor plug .. how the 'ell does that unclip
i nearly broke it trying .. so left it ..
( was taking off all the injector wiring connectors ..
( and treating them against corrosion with that 'contralube' stuff ..
though .. everything looks nice 'n clean and dry to start with ..
back in a mo.

So at the vacuum pump. A little bit of persuading (pulling hard) should get it to shift?
