Mud trap flap thingy

Tired of routinely cleaning the wet debris from the known mud traps above and inside the rear cross member, so am going to do something about it, dagnamit :violent:

Would like to use the same material as the pieces that protect the back of the rear lights, indicators, etc. Anyone know what this type of material is or a good alternative?

Do you happen to know what material the "bus spray flap" is made from? Was hoping just to buy a length and cut it to size.

Its rubber. you could cut up some old mud flaps and use them... if you have them spare.

Machine Mart sell it - probably not the cheapest but quick/easy to get if you live nearby so it worked for me
