Does anyone know how i can turn the traction control off on my freelander 1? Its a 2002 1.8 petrol. I got stuck in the mud and had to rescue it with my vivaro van.

When your wheels are spinning and traction control activates to pulse brake them, power is then fed into the wheels with grip. If all 4 wheels are without grip, then traction control will continue to pulse brake spinning wheels to allow them to slowly turn and slowly regain traction if they can. If they can't, your stuck. You'd be worse off with traction control dissabled.Does anyone know how i can turn the traction control off on my freelander 1? Its a 2002 1.8 petrol. Were your rear wheels turning? Do you have props/vcu fitted?
