walking through pc world looking at games for girlfriend
(so I can figure out what she has and hasn't got)

Saw a hp photosmart e station and remember thinking £400 for a printer and tablet=**** that.

It was reduced to £99 and from the reviews the printer is great, but the tablet is mediocre.

So I thought what the hell if it is a pile of **** it can go back- but thought I'd try it out.

How the hell they dared to sell it with the version of android prior to the update is beyond me as it was unusable.

Not the most responsive and poorly configured default software cripple it.

But some updates it is far better and had hp actually had the offerings visible it does some quite nice features including colouring pictures for the kids and games etc.

It is beyond me to install quick lancher for non installed programs:doh:

Flawed technology at 3/4 off - I can live with that
so off to ebay for ink tank kit:D

well done fanny,i have had some cracking deals out of pc world.right place right time.:D;)

for what I paid it is a digital picture frame, web browser and photo printer, web connected printer (print via email )

A fully fledge android tablet is stretching it a bit as it has it's own app download system.

now had I paid £400 I'd have wanted to string someone up at HP, but for the money I'm prepared to put up with the rough edges.

Some nice features, but poor implementation and crap instructions mean you need to delve to find the stuff on offer.

been tinkering with it, thought about rooting it but there is a risk of buggering the printer interface.

Just wrapping Christmas shopping:doh: couple of beers and now on large mug of tea:D

She is sore but better, I reckon she may pop before jan 16, so may not be in my usual location over Christmas.

She is home tomorrow so I have loaded the dishwasher and done a couple of loads of washing.
