ultimately of course, landrover are to blame..if they invested some time and money into build quality, their trucks wouldn't fail so often meaning parts need to be replaced.

I am surprised that the owners cannot put a disclaimer on a particular thread stating that "the views posted here are of the individual poster and this site neither condones, agrees or disagrees with any views expressed".

Having said that, this site is owned by Roy and Accy and, as such, it is ultimately their decision as to what goes on.

The old adage applies....... If yu dont like the site then leave!

The bottom line is... Whoever is responsible for the site is legally responsible for the content if informed that it is an infringement of something or other.

You cannot disclaim it.

it is so sad that certain small minded people believe they have reached the pinnacle of their motoring career by owning a landrover..the same landrovers owned by sh?tkickers up and down the country used for feeding cattle and housing chickens, the same ones that bottom all the reliability lists.
i thought this was a diverse site with a degree of inteligence not just a chance for senior members (senior meaning they have wasted more money on their pride and joy than sensible newbies that saw the light and sold theirs) to poke fun and degrade others.

dont bother banning us..i'm sure you need to use your time wisely, like fixing your mud pluggers again for the 5th time this week.

funny how these landrovers were suppose to be so good yet vauxhall frontera's and suzuki sj's go the same places.

see you round guys, ill more than likely overtake you in the snow cos your in "mondo" mode!! :)

Hope some one can help. Thank you[/QUOTE]

Well guys do you think we did!!! I kind of think we should get back on track and help.

So I lost the thread some time ago - did you check that :
1. You have a VCU
2. That it is not a 'loose' one

My advice - check it out with Bell Engineering - google them - good guys who know what they are talking about - A VCU from them is great value for money and they will fit while you wait if you need the service - the changed mine and it works well.
