broken wires in drivers door to micro switch at a guess- or the other favourite bcem engine ecu sync- got rid of my p38 yeas ago- someone will comment further

i wish i hadnt bought mine ive on ly had it eight month and its been off the road for two month so as ya can imagine im sick lol

I seem to remember ignition on connect battery as one of the suggestions- don't like the Idea myself.

waving good by to my p38 was bliss

When you turn the key in the lock it mechanically operates the lock and a microwitch. It's the microswitch that turns off the alarm or inputs the EKA code. Get inside the door* and find out why the microswitch isn't switching.

*remove tweeter cover
unplug tweeter
undo screw behind tweeter cover, inside door pull and under arm rest
carefully prise door card off both sides and bottom
lift it off the top disconnecting the speaker cable at some point
