Disco wheel sizes

Hi guys just a quick question at what point /in what year /did they change the wheel offsets stud spacing between a MK1 and a M2 disco
My brother has a old M plate and is looking at a set of wheels taken off a P plate will they fit ?
Any info gratefully recieved

Nut PCD changed in 99 I believe so wide PCD is upto 98

it changed when they went to the D2, P plate is still a D1

what a night mare just trying to put 285 75 16 on my discovery had to cut the wings lift the spring hight off set wheels and still need more hight lol body lift next should have gone for the 256 i think

Got 285's on mine. Similar stuff to you, +2", 8J wheels, 30mm spacers, +2" arches etc lol

Tried them on a standard Disco and it had no room to move!

285s are the better choice. The work it takes to fit them is well worth it.
