1 thing I see terribly wrong is you don't have it block/or on jack stands, the damn thing could slip off your floor jack or sink into the grass and hurt you real bad.
If you have a large chain that will fit over the lug studs bolt it on and they try to jerk the hub off, put some slack in the chain and then yank it real hard and the snapping in the chain ,with force, should jar it loose.
Have used this a few times when you don't have a slide hammer. Its work but it works
Why not put the half shaft the wrong way round and put the five bolts back in then gradually tighten them in turn (as opposite as you can) and the flange pushing on the stub axle may pull the hub assembly off or at least put it under a bit of pressure to enable the use of a hammer to help free off. Other option is two crowbars opposite each other behind the back of the hub assembly and heave.
