fuel tank sensor

hi can any one let me know how the float sensor comes out on the 90 looks easy does it just twist out ? my fuel light comes on when the gauge shows quarter of a tank

You have a working fuel light! I'd leave well alone!!!

Just untwists if you want to remove - anti-clockwise

seriously - sounds as if it's working OK

thanks station house, yes you may be right i will have to make sure theres plenty of fuel in there

Believe the gauges can be variable in accuracy, and lift pumps can be a pain to prime if you run dry!

Keeping above 1/4 full isn't a bad discipline

I didn't know they had a fuel light? Mine runs out of go go juice when the needle hits 1/4 full!
