Need some help, slow pulling away

Ok Need some help, very slow pulling away I changed the pump in the tank just now for a new ****part one, and its still pulling off real slow, cant think what it is now, but I bet its a load of ££ everything looks OK engine wise no diesel leaking from any place i can see, any one have any suggestions (that are SENSIBLE!! like NOT setting fire to it, selling it off scraping it etc, get my drift followers??? )

Anyway a big up on the guy who sussed out the changing of the pump from the boot, and cutting a hole in the floor,it was well easy did it in 3/2 of an hour, my only tip would be to get 2 new olives

Just to add to the confusion, start it up and then rev it, it has the full revs lots of power, then you pull off it like tortoise pulling away, and wont be 100% even when the engine has warmed up,

Map is that on a diesel? if it is where am I gona find it? just cleaned the air filter out it was dirty, so cleaned it and oil it up again (washable one) then I took it out again, still the same, then, it stalled on me and cam up GEARBOX FAULT!!, it started up OK and cleared itself, that will teach me, i think i will take the pipes off 2morrow and have a good clean up of them and make sure its all clear and not clogged up. but i don't suspect them to be the problem, but it wont hurt, I did check all the plugs, I think the MAP sensor is next to the air ride gubbings isn't it? if so I did check them already

mine was like that check the small pipe going from the fuel filter to the inlet manifold,mine was hanging free,put it back on it was like a new truck.
have you checked for binding brakes.

MAP (Manifold absolute presssure) sensor. On top of fuel filter with a pressure pipe connecting it to under manifold and an electrical plug. It adjusts the fuelling according to manifold pressure. If it's not working it does not matter how much pressure you have from turbo if there is no extra fuel engine will have no power.

Did all that and then some, still pulling away like a wet fart, you think the MAP sensor is fubar?

think its worth a shot, if i remember the map sensor cost me about £30, better to start with the cheaper stuff first! i did change the pipe which runs from underneath it at the same time as it was in pretty poor condiiton.

some times fixing the cheap stuff can be more costly in the long run if it didn't need to be replaced in the first place. could just need to be taken apart cleaned up put back together. mud and dirt does strange things to good parts, keep em clean and they do you good

I found 2 part # one is a BMW and the other is Land Rover, are these OK for Diesels as well, I'm not too sure
