Rear axle for a 110 (300tdi )

Anyone got a rear axle for a 110 defender, it's on an N plate so 300tdi. Collection not a problem but do need one quickly. Cash on collection.

I'm quite a novice, do they fit? would it cock up the gearing etc?

Dont the 110 have a Salisbury axle? the Rover one wont take the max weight that a 110 can carry, so I believe.

Thanks for that, yeh Iv'e been told it's a salisbury axle? Bloke that checked it for me today said there's far too much play in it and to try & replace it.

how much play does your diff have in it to warrant replacement, normally the drive flanges and the half shafts that wear

With the wheels off the floor I can turn the prop almost half a revalution before the wheels move? Iv'e been led to believe that you need specialist tools too change the diff in a salisbury axle anyway? Thats why I was after an axle. Hope that makes sense, as I said I'm a novice when it comes to Landrovers.
