Thanks for that, yeh Iv'e been told it's a salisbury axle? Bloke that checked it for me today said there's far too much play in it and to try & replace it.
With the wheels off the floor I can turn the prop almost half a revalution before the wheels move? Iv'e been led to believe that you need specialist tools too change the diff in a salisbury axle anyway? Thats why I was after an axle. Hope that makes sense, as I said I'm a novice when it comes to Landrovers.
