I had some fun today trying to pull a forklift truck out of a field where it weighted back wheels had sunk right in.

I was on tarmac and I just ended up spinning my wheels, my question is that I had the passenger side front spinning and the drivers side rear spinning is that right?

Its a 1990 3.9 classic v8 auto with I am guessing a viscous coupling.

I didnt feel too bad as the tractor that tried next couldnt do it anyway!:D

Yeah, no significance to which wheel on each axle spins - thats purely down to whichever has more traction. Whats important is that you had one on each axle, means your VC is locking up nicely.

I am surprised I didnt break anything to be honest , it was well and truley stuck!

I guess my transfer box must be in better shape than I thought!
